Obituary of Margarita Santana

 Doña Margarita (Margot) Correa Santana, 92, of New York, New York, passed away on January 14, 2023.

The memorial service will be held at Riverdale Funeral Home Inc. 5044 Broadway New York, NY 10034 on January 21, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Riverdale Funeral Home Inc. will take care of funeral arrangements.

Doña Margot was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, the daughter of Altagracia and Rafael Correa on September 11, 1930. She is survived by her husband Gildo Santana, her children José Roberto Segura and Carlos Raúl Segura, her grandchildren Miles and Naima, and her siblings Carmen, Rafael, Andrés, and Nurys Correa. Margarita Correa Santana was the founder of Margot Restaurant: El Basement for over 30 years.

El servicio conmemorativo se llevará a cabo en Riverdale Funeral Home Inc. 5044 Broadway New York, NY 10034 el 21 de enero, de 2 pm a 6 pm. Riverdale Funeral Home Inc.  se encargará de los arreglos funerarios.

Doña Margot nació en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, hija  de Altagracia y Rafael Correa el 11 de septiembre de 1930. Le sobreviven su esposo Gildo Santana, sus hijos José Roberto Segura y Carlos Raúl Segura, sus nietos Miles y Naima, y sus hermanos Carmen Rafael, Andrés y Nurys Correa. Margarita Correa Santana fue la fundadora de Margot Restaurant: El Basement por más de 30 años.
