Obituary of James Joseph Moran

James Joseph Moran, 77, of Washington Heights in New York City, NY, passed away on December 14th, 2022 of a long illness.

Funeral service will be held at Riverdale Funeral Home, 5044 Broadway New York, New York 10034 212-942-4000, on December 22nd, 2022 from 3pm to 5pm and again at 7pm to 9pm. A memorial mass will be held on December 23rd, 2022 at 10:30am in the Church of Incarnation, 1290 Saint Nicholas Ave, New York, NY 10033 212-927-7474.

James was born in Washington Heights in New York City to Patrick and Catherine Moran on February 7th, 1945. He went to high school at Rice High School. He worked as a Special Representative for Verizon for 25 years. He enjoyed model making, fishing, and trips with his family.

James is survived by his loving wife Evelyn Camacho-Moran, his children Mairéad Moran and Liam Moran, and brother Robert Moran. Our family appreciates everyone’s well wishes and condolences. He is loved and will be missed.
