Obituary of Concepcion Burgos

Beloved Concepcion Burgos was a loving Mother,Sister, Grandmother and friend. 

She was entered to rest on November 15 in Yonkers, NY at the age of 82 of natural causes. She was loved and adored by many. Concepcion also known as Conchita was known for her warm smile, great sense of humor, and caring heart. She was cherished and in the care of her loving Daughter Evelyn, whom dedicated her life to providing her Mother with the best quality of life humanly possible.The simplest pleasures in life brought joy to her heart. She had a zest for life and possessed such a fighter mentality or in her words “estoy como un cañón”. She very much enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family. Conchita was never one to turn down a great party filled with music, dancing and laughter. Her outgoing personality was contagious to anyone she met. Some of Conchita’s recent interests consisted of coloring Bible pages, going out to eat, jewelry making and enjoying some frozen yogurt. She will be dearly missed  and our memories will be cherished in our hearts forever. 

The family will be present to receive friends on Saturday November 19, 2022 from 4-8 PM.
