Obituary of Nereida Blanco

Please share a memory of Nereida to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nereida Blanco on January 13, 2022. She was a fighter through her very core, and fought a  long and arduous battle courageously. I believe she did it more for us than herself. She was loved by all and never wavered to give advice and support to everyone that touched her heart. She is survived by her daughters, Judith, Yvonne and Brenda and her beloved son, Patrick, grandchildren Christopher, Brendan, Melody, Patricia and Steven and her great-grandchildren, Aria, Layla, Cristiano and Santino. She is also survived by siblings John, Tony, Tina, Miriam, Judy, Ali and many nieces and nephews. Visitation Services will be held at Riverdale funeral home on Wednesday, January 19, between the hours of 3-6pm.  Memorial services will be held at Annunciation Church on Thursday at 10:00 at 88 Convent Avenue, NY, NY 10027.  Entombment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery 350 east Linden avenue, Linden, NJ 07036.
