Dear Diaz Family,
I worked with your dear Gilda for about 20 years. We started out at 721M@Stuyvesant High School and then moved on to 721M@Houston Street. In all that time, I knew her as a caring, intuitive educator. She was kind and gentle to our students and staff. Gilda worked with our students diligently helping them learn in many different ways. She read patiently to the students, helped with math problems, worked on special art projects and more!
As a friend and a colleague, Gilda and I were fashionista's together. Sometimes, we even had the same shirt or sweater!
Our school community will greatly miss dear Gilda. She will always be in our hearts and minds.
