Obituary of Gloria Feliciano

Gloria Feliciano entered into rest on January 3, 2022.

Gloria Maria Feliciano was the daughter of Gunnery Sgt Pedro Feliciano USMC and Maria Gonzalez. She was born in Ponce, PR on March 31, 1945 which was the holy day of Sabado de Gloria. The family moved to NY when she was 6 years old.  As a single loving mother she cared for her 3 children that she leaves behind: Kent (Minerva), Melanie (Kevin), and Joshua. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Alyssa and Gavin. Those who knew her knew that she loved her children and grandchildren fiercely. She was funny and sassy and loved to celebrate every holiday with family. Her way of showing love was through food and she loved to share that with everyone around her. She expressed her happiness and love by sewing costumes for her children and grandchildren for holidays and events. She was a proud American and loved singing the National anthem. She will be missed by all who knew her and whose lives she touched. 

Visitation will be on Saturday January 8, 2022 from 2pm to 6pm at the Riverdale Funeral Home, 5044 Broadway, New York, N.Y. 10034.

Interment will held on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
