Obituary of Apostolos Vasiliou

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Apostolos Vasiliou, our loving and devoted husband, father and Papou. On December 8, 2021 heaven gained an angel and a piece of our hearts. Papou was a gentle, quiet and kind man that adored his family most of all. He was known for his warm smile, generous heart and loving demeanor. A man that asked for so little but gave so very much.

Apostoli was the beloved husband of Nikki. Loving father of Loukia Vafeades, Ourania Ioannidis and Maria Sandoval.  Adoring Papou of 9 grandchildren: George Ioannidis, Alexa Vafeades, Carmen Ortiz, Kayla Ortiz, Lynn Bartolini, Angelica Ruiz, Melani Ruiz, Vanessa Sandoval and Sara Sandoval and great grandchildren: Amy Tlatelpa, Jace Tlatelpa, Kaeliss Rodriguez and Jess Marie Rodriguez. Cherished Brother to: Niko Vasiliou, Loukia Papedemetriou and Vasiliki Tsounis. His presence will truly be missed by all who loved him. May his memory be eternal. You will forever be in our hearts Papouli.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 10 Mill Road, New Rochelle NY. 10804. Funeral Service will follow at 11:30am at Holy Trinity Church.

Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, 50 Jackson Ave, Hastings-On-Hudson, NY 10706.
