Obituary of Ronald Brown

Please share a memory of Ronald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Ronald E. Brown was born on September 27, 1959 in Brooklyn New York to Willie and Ducline Brown, both from Georgia. He was the eldest of six children. After graduating from high school, he worked on the NYC water tunnel project as a sandhog along with his father. He became a salesman at Frankel’s in Brooklyn and became an expert on cowboy boots. He was a proud member of Local Union #3 and worked at Industry City in Maintenance as a plumber for over 20 years. He joyfully retired in early 2021 with plans of frequent travels with the love of his life, Norma.

Besides traveling, he loved to go fishing and share his bounty with friends and neighbors. He was a hard working man with a love for life and generous in so many ways.  As a great conversationalist and debater on any topic, acquaintances became friends where ever he went. His smiles, his conversations and his presence filled a room with laughter and joy. Smile and he will smile along with you as you remember him…
