We stayed making plans to meet up and although we didn’t get to, our phone convos, zoom calls, texts and voice messages were just as important. My condolences to the family and friends of our beloved Johnny. My heart is broken as I scroll through all the memories and great times we have shared as friends. My Forest Hills HS friends became my family, never missing a moment to celebrate, clap and support all of life’s happenings. You my friend, my classmate and my brother have seen me at my best and sometimes my worst but through it all, always had positive feedback and advice. I miss our weekly zoom sessions but most of all I’ll forever miss you. I pray for your family to find peace knowing you are no longer in pain and have been made whole again at the side of our Heavenly Father. Although I will not be there in person, I’ll surely be thinking of you as we all say our final goodbyes. Rest easy my brother!

Johnny, where do I even begin?
Our friendship continued outside of the walls of Forest Hills and the time spent in high school didn't define our friendship. You became part of my own family, sharing in milestones and celebrating with my family, husband, kids and I. You were one I was so very proud of. Your transformation from a boy to a successful, talented, caring and loving man, was a blessing to witness. I am grateful for our friendship/brotherhood for all these years. I am so glad I was a part of your life, but even more, having you a part of mine will be forever sketched in my heart!

Johnny,
My fondest memories of you include the countless times having witnessed your signature What!?! reaction; that you combined with the facial expression and lean that’s unforgettable because it always stands out in a crowd. I thank you for basking in the limelight while at the same time sharing the spotlight. It becomes even more difficult to have heaven on Earth without a soul like yours.

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly in death we do the same.
