Obituary of Petros Klostri

Petros Klostri, 83 years of age, born in Karavas, Cyprus to Constantinos Klostri and Anastasia Klostri (née Tsiti), peacefully fell asleep in the Lord on September 7, 2021.
A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife Eugenia, and their sons Constantinos (Pauline) and their child Petros; Father Panteleimon (Presvytera Eleni) and their children Theodore and Ella.
Petros lived his life placing his family as his priority, in a selfless manner. He worked long hours to provide for them, and enjoyed in an exuberant manner the joyous moments of life. He will be deeply missed.
He was a passionate fan of movie classics, owning a popular drive in theater in Cyprus. Upon immigrating to the US with his whole family in 1975, Petros was a well renowned and highly respected bartender in the Financial District. In his youth, he lived in what was then known as Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe).
Petros was predeceased by his siblings Andreas, Sotera, and Eleni. Among his siblings, he is survived by his sister Maroula of Limassol, Cyprus.
There will be a wake at the Riverdale Funeral Home on Thursday, September 9, 2021 between 5pm to 8pm and the funeral will be on Friday, September 10 at 10 am at the Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Washington Heights (124 Wadsworth Avenue NY, NY 10033).
