Obituary of Joseph Patrick Higgins
Joseph Patrick Higgins "Joe", age 65, entered into eternal rest on Sunday July 4, 2021 at the NY Presbyterian Hospital with his family at his side.
Born to the late Joseph and Anna Higgins on Jauary 19, 1956 in NYC. Joe was an avid baseball fan, he attended most opening days at Yankee Stadium. He also played catcher for the New York Post baseball team.
He is survived by his beloved wife Miriam DeValle Higgins, cousin Kathy Higgins Marino and her husband Peter Marino, his nieces; Lauren, Caroline, Elizabeth and pre deceased by his beloved aunt Margaret Higgins. Lets not forget Cindy his rescue dog from North Shore Animal League.
His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday July 24, 2021 from 11am to 1:00 pm at The Riverdale Funeral Home, 5044 Broadway, New York NY 10034. Memorial donations can be made to the North Shore Animal League, at 25 Davis Ave, Port Washington, NY 11050. .
