Obituary of Rafael Fernandez

Rafael Fernandez passed peacefully on February 12 with his family by his side. Rafael was born 12/28/1935 in the Dominican Republic. He served as a police officer in his home country before migrating to the US in 1969 followed by many years of sacrifice and dedication to help his family realize the American dream. Beloved husband of Victoria. Loving father of Mario Tejeda, Jackie Abreu, Franklin Fernandez, Edward Fernandez, Arelys Cabrera, and Alexis Fernandez. A cherished grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass for Rafael will be at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church 91 Arden Street New York, NY 10040 on Thursday February 18th at 9:00AM.
