Obituary of Nikolaos Taneris
Please share a memory of Nikolaos to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Nikolaos Taneris lost to us far too soon. A square that could never fit into a round hole. He was a man with a deep love of history, politics, Greece and all things Hellenic. The creative side of him stretched to writing, film, comedy and an enduring love of the horror genre. Above all, he was a dearly loved, tender, patient and ferociously protective father to Androulla, Angelo and Aristotelis. A patient husband and best friend to Georgia Taneris, beloved son to Evripedes and Angelika Tanery (both deceased), beloved brother to Tony (Ann) Tanery, Mary Labridis, and Toula (Jimmy) Hanjis and uncle to 5 nephews and nieces and grand uncle to their young children. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. Reposing at St. Spyridon Church, 124 Wadsworth Ave, NYC on Thursday from10:30am to 11:30am. Funeral Service to follow at 11:30am. Burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
