Obituary of Rita Teresa Bartko (Nee Pingitore)

Rita Teresa Bartko, 88, of Yonkers passed away peacefully on March 4, 2016. Rita was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Teresa Pingitore. Rita is survived by her loving husband George Bartko to whom she was married for 63 years. Beloved mother to Suzanne Donnelly, Rosemarie McIntyre (Scott), and George Bartko (Debbie). Cherished grandmother to Sean Donnelly, Tess and Jack McIntyre, Giana and Sofia Bartko. A memorial mass will be celebrated at the Monastery Church of the Sacred Heart, 110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers, NY 10703 on Saturday, March 19, at 9:30 a.m. Private interment at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis TN 38101.
