Catherine Geraghty. Retired NYC Telephone Company employee and a life long resident of the Inwood section of Manhattan entered into rest on Thursday June 23,2011.She was the loving mother of Cathy Farrell and Billy Geraghty. Dear mother in law of Pat. Adored grandmother of Patrick and Katie.
Dear sister of John Sheehan. Cherished aunt of Mary, Rita and Patty. She was a very special person in the lives of Lisa, Kevin and Jennifer. She was a true matriarch of Inwood who touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all her relatives, dear friends and the community. The family will be present to receive friends on Monday from 2-5 & 7-9 PM at The RIVERDALE FUNERAL HOME, 5044 Broadway @ 214th Street in NYC. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. at The Good Shepherd RC Church. (Inwood). Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla NY.
