Adelaide Fitzgerald entered into rest on May 21, 2015 with her loving daughter at her side. Adelaide was born on September 11, 1918 in Stamford Connecticut to Onofrio and Adelina (nee Mitchell) Varricchio. Adelaide performed as a dancer and teacher with the New York Ballet. She is survived by her Adoring daughter Joy Correge. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday May 27, 2015 at 10:30 AM in Cabrini Chapel on Fort Washington Avenue with her interment to follow in the family plot in St. Johns Cemetery in Stamford Connecticut. The family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday May 26 from 3-6PM here at the Riverdale Funeral Home. 5044 Broadway @ 215 Street in NYC.
