Bridget Teresa McDonnell (June 19, 1930 – January 12, 2017) McDonnell (nee Marren), Bridget Teresa on January 12, 2017. Teresa was a long time resident of Inwood and parishioner of Good Shepherd Church upon arriving from Curracunane, Curry, Co. Sligo, Ireland on St. Patrick’s Day in 1949. Beloved wife of Richard J. McDonnell (d. 2015). Loving mother of James, Catherine Mezzich (Simeon), and Anne Schiller. Adored grandmother of Andrew, Gabriella, & Peter Mezzich, and Molly & Sarah Schiller. Survived by her loving sisters Anne O’Dwyer (Michael) & Peggy O’Sullivan of New York, and Sr. Mary Marren & Attracta McMullin (Sean) of Ireland. Adored aunt of Deirdre, Maire, Barry, Paul, Timmy, Carmel, Brenda, Fiona, John, Orla, Ruairi, and Hugh. Predeceased by her brothers Hughie & John Marren, and her sister Kathleen Toolan (Joe). Reposing Riverdale Funeral Home; 5044 Broadway @ 214th Street in Inwood on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 2:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by her loving cousin, Rev. Michael G. Dunn, at Good Shepherd Church on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 10:30am.
