Aileen Young entered into final rest on April 28, 202

There will be a service at Trinity Church Cemetery and Mausoleum on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 12:30 pm, with burial to follow. 

Aileen Young, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026 at the age of 98 years old.

Born on February 11, 1928 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Aileen lived a life defined by kindness, strength, humor, generosity. She was known for her warm smile, unwavering support, sharp wit, deep compassion, and she touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Aileen dedicated much of her life to family. She found joy in helping others she also loved traveling to other countries like Africa She is survived by her daughter Diane Brown and grandson Christopher Young, who will carry her memory forward with love. 

Those who knew Aileen will remember her for her love for family, her resilience, her laughter, her guidance. Her presence brought comfort and joy, and her memory will remain a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
