Dominga Garcia Perez entered into rest on April 23, 2026.                                                                                                                               Minga (Dominga) Garcia Perez, born on August 4, 1929, in the Dominican Republic, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, in New York City.

Dominga was born and raised in the Dominican Republic before making New York her home, where she built a life centered around love, family, and cherished traditions. She was a woman of elegance who always took pride in her appearance and carried herself with grace.

She found joy in the simple and beautiful moments of life—listening to music, dancing, cooking, traveling, shopping, and most of all, spending time with her beloved family. Dominga was known for her strength, her vibrant spirit, and her warm heart. She was loving and caring, with a wonderful sense of humor that brought smiles to those around her.

Dominga was a devoted mother to seven children, whom she loved deeply. She was preceded in death by her sons Frank, Benigno, and Luis, and is lovingly survived by her children Mary, Juan, Gloria, and Margarita. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren: Melissa, Angela, Yaritza, Jarvin, Jenelly, Giovanni, Anthony, Chelsea, Christian, and Jaylen; and nine great-grandchildren: Nychellee, Kyler, Reilly, Jesiah, Matthew, Julianna, Nicholas, Laelah, and Khai.

Minga will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, strength, and family will live on for many generations to come.

Visitation will be at Riverdale Funeral Home. 5044 Broadway, NY, NY 10034, on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 3 pm to 7 pm.

Burial will be at Cemeterio Cristo Redentor. Dominican Republic.

Minga (Dominga) García Pérez, nacida el 4 de agosto de 1929 en la República Dominicana, falleció pacíficamente el 23 de abril de 2026 en la ciudad de Nueva York.

Dominga nació y creció en la República Dominicana antes de establecer su hogar en Nueva York, donde construyó una vida centrada en el amor, la familia y las tradiciones entrañables. Fue una mujer de gran elegancia que siempre se enorgullecía de su apariencia y se conducía con gracia.

Ella encontraba alegría en los momentos sencillos y hermosos de la vida: escuchar música, bailar, cocinar, viajar, ir de compras y, sobre todo, pasar tiempo con su amada familia. Dominga era conocida por su fortaleza, espíritu vibrante y corazón cálido. Era cariñosa y atenta, y poseía un maravilloso sentido del humor que dibujaba sonrisas en el rostro de quienes la rodeaban.

Dominga fue una madre dedicada a siete hijos, a quienes amó profundamente. Le precedieron en la muerte sus hijos Frank, Benigno y Luis; y le sobreviven con amor sus hijos Mary, Juan, Gloria y Margarita. También deja atrás a diez nietos: Melissa, Angela, Yaritza, Jarvin, Jenelly, Giovanni, Anthony, Chelsea, Christian y Jaylen; y a nueve bisnietos: Nychellee, Kyler, Reilly, Jesiah, Matthew, Julianna, Nicholas, Laelah y Khai.

Minga será profundamente extrañada por todos aquellos que la conocieron y amaron. Su legado de amor, fortaleza y familia perdurará por muchas generaciones venideras.

El velorio tendrá lugar en la Funeraria Riverdale, 5044 Broadway, NY, NY 10034, el domingo 26 de abril de 2026, de 3:00 p.m. a 7:00p.m.

El entierro se realizará en el Cementerio Cristo Redentor, República Dominicana.
