Anastasia Katsoris Obituary

Anastasia Katsoris entered into rest on April 13, 2026.

Anastasia “Ann” Katsoris was born on February 19, 1933 to her parents Louis and Pauline Kanganis.  Her parents came to the United States from Greece and built the iconic Valentine Florist in Westchester, which they owned and operated for over 50 years.

Anastasia was a graduate of Walton High School and attended Columbia University in New York City, later working at a marketing firm in midtown in the 1950’s.

In 1959, she met her husband, of almost 67 years, Constantine “Gus"Katsoris — a legendary professor at Fordham Law School and fixture in the Fordham Community.

Anastasia’s impact of 93 years of life is diversely recognized by many, particularly by her closest family.

Her impact, which she implemented effortlessly and humbly, was based upon two very simple, cohesive, and organic life plans — to always have courage and to always be kind.

Her legacy left on this earth held true to those two pure concepts, which she carried out with grace, self sacrifice and a true heart, particularly for her family, every day of her life, including, and significantly, in her battle with breast cancer in her final chapter.

Her family, and people, meant the world to her, above all else.

She is survived by her husband, Gus, her three children, Nancy, Nicholas and Louis; their spouses William O'Hagan, Voula Katsoris and Dr. Chau Dang, 6 grandchildren, Annie (husband Matthew), Christopher, Constantine, Kelly, Julia and Cole and two great-grandchildren, James and Lily Ann.

May her memory be eternal!

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering of Westchester 500 Westchester Ave. West Harrison, NY 10604 in Memory of Anastasia Katsoris.
