Ana De Leon was born on October 2, 1947, in the Dominican Republic, and entered into rest on December 9, 2025, at the age of 78. Ana was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. And was deeply dedicated to her faith.
She gave so much of herself to others, always with kindness, compassion, a thoughtful heart, and endless generosity. She had a profound love for her family and friends, expressed in every interaction.
Born in the Dominican Republic to Ramon DeLeon and Maria Otilia Estevez, Ana grew up with strong values, faith, and compassion that defined her life.
She was the beloved and adored wife of Jose Manuel DeLeon and the cherished mother of Janie, Yolanda, Edwin, Franklin and William. She was a grandmother to 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A devoted sister whose warmth, protection, and compassion for her siblings reflected the love of a mother. She is also survived by countless family and friends whose lives were touched by her unwavering kindness and generosity. Her memory will remain eternal in the hearts of all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at the Riverdale Funeral Home, 5044 Broadway, NY, NY 10034, on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 2 pm to 6 pm.
The funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 15th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Ascension, located at 221 West 107th Street, New York, NY 10025, followed by the burial at Rosehill Cemetery, 792 E Edgar Rd, Linden, NJ 07036.
