Fotini (Faye) Tsepelias-Giannikos, born November 12, 1975, fell asleep in the Lord on December 2, 2025, at the age of 50. A resident of Tenafly, New Jersey, Faye was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and faithful servant of the Greek Orthodox Church. She lived a life defined by kindness, thoughtfulness, and deep love for her family and community.
Faye was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised for most of her life in Chantilly, Virginia, where she developed the strong values, faith, and compassion that shaped her throughout her life.
She was the beloved and adored wife of Dr. Christos Giannikos and the cherished mother of Eftihia and Gianni, who were the center of her world. She was the treasured daughter of Valerie and Haralambos Tsepelias, the loving sister of Philippos Tsepelias, and the adored granddaughter of Anastasia Kontzamanys. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends whose lives were touched by her warmth and generosity.
Faye was deeply dedicated to her faith and community. As President of the Greek School Education Committee at St. John the Theologian, she worked tirelessly to promote Greek education, culture, and faith, enriching the lives of many families. Her commitment to service and her gentle spirit made her a respected and beloved figure within the parish.
A proud and faithful Greek Orthodox Christian, Faye lived her life guided by love, humility, and devotion to God. Her memory will remain eternal in the hearts of all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at St. John the Theologian Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Tenafly, NJ. The Funeral Service will take place at the same location on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 12:00 noon.
