Maria Demeter entered into eternal rest on June 13, 2025. Beloved wife of George Demetrakopoulos. Loving mother of Alexandra(Tommy) Tsiolis. Cherished Yiayia to Stavros and Paula Tsiolis. Adored sister to Soula Lolis, Takis Dimitrakakis, Kiki Triantafillis, George Dimas and the late Georgia Moundroukas. Maria is also surived many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Greece. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her!

A Visitation will be held at The Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 15 Leroy Ave. Yonkers, NY 10705 on Monday June 14, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am. Funeral Service will follow at Prophet Elias Church at 11:30am. 

Interment service will then follow  at Mt. Hope Cemetery 50 Jackson Avenue Hastings-on-Hudson, NY 10706.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church 15 Leroy Avenue Yonkers, New York 10706 in Memory of Maria Demeter.
