Dr. Stephani J. Katechis (nee Stassou) entered into rest on Saturday, March 22, 2025.

Stephani was a devoted wife and loving mother. She is survived by her husband Dr. Dennis Katechis. A loving mother to Sophia and Julia. She is survived by her cherished parents, Peter and Rhea Stassou. She was a devoted sister to Andrea Stassou and her husband Elias Dokas and their children (Peter and Katerina) and Julene Stassou and her children (Ella and Jake). She is survived her beloved mother in law Spiridula Katechis and sister in laws Theoni Katechis and Anastasia Gretsas . Cherished nieces and nephews Katerina,Tyler, Vasilios, Alexander and Zoey.

Stephani graduated from Dwight Englewood High School in Englewood, New Jersey, Columbia University in New York City and completed her Doctorate at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.

She completed a three year residency in pediatrics, and her immense passion was caring for children. Stephani will be dearly missed by all her loving family, friends and all who knew her. May Her Memory Be Eternal!!

Funeral Service was held at The Metropolitan Cathedral of St John the Theologian, 353 E Clinton Ave, Tenafly, NJ 07670 on March 27, 2025 at 11am.
