George Melis passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025.

George was the beloved husband of Francesca, a loving father to Amalia and Anna. He was a cherished Pappou to Anna, Frances and her husband George, Nicholas and his wife Brianna and Peter George. He was an adored great grandfather to John.

A resilient man, hard worker, creative inventor soul-George brought laughter, wisdom and life experience to his very way of being with his family and friends. He will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held at Beney Funeral Home, 79 Berry Hill Road, Syosset, NY 11791 on Saturday, March 29,2025 from 1pm to 3pm and 5pm to 8pm. May His Memory Be Eternal!
