George was a great childhood friend of mine. We were in the same class at St. Spyridon. We had the chance to really catch-up and talk about our friendship, the Bronx, and fun times we had. I'm so glad we reached out to each other. I lit a candle for George at the Savannah Greek church when his brother Argyrios called to tell me of George's passing. George was a fun, generous guy with a big heart. I already miss talking with him. Travel well George! RIP in know that you're not forgotten. -- Chris
